Ag Marketing Seminar

First Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring an ag marketing seminar. This seminar will be conducted by Top Third Ag Marketing. Top Third’s core principles in marketing include 1) no speculating, 2) no margin calls, and 3) protect the downside – keep the upside open. Please see the attached pdf above for additional information. This one-hour seminar is for grain and livestock producers as the same principles apply to both. 

First Fidelity Bank is not promoting one company over another. We encourage producers to work with whatever company they are comfortable working with. This seminar is being sponsored for informational purposes for our producers to provide a better understanding of the marketing tools that are available to them to assist in putting together an effective and profitable marketing plan. 

Statistics show that approximately 70% of producers sell in the bottom third of prices available to them over a growing season. With the current ag economy, low commodity prices, and high input costs, producers are working to do everything they can to improve their bottom line. This seminar will provide information and tools to help you in this endeavor. Some producers may think their operation is too small to be concerned about marketing or having a marketing plan, but small changes made here and there can add up in any size of operation and can pay big dividends. 

This ag marketing seminar will be held at two locations on Wednesday, February 6th:  

  • The first seminar will be held in Winner at 3:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Express conference room. 
  • The second seminar will be held in Platte at 7:00 pm in the basement of the bank.
