• Contact existing and prospective clients about investment and insurance products and to discuss adequacy of existing investments and make recommendations as needed.
• Establish a collaborative relationship with prospective clients from various sources.
• Foster strong relationships with current and prospective clients to maintain client retention.
• Recommend strategies that meets each client’s needs by providing them with the investment knowledge to make educated decisions.
• Assist clients with investment and insurance related questions.
• Respond to queries, problem solving, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep up to date with industry knowledge and learn about new products and services.
• Utilize negotiation and listening skills to overcome objections.
• Treat each client interaction as an opportunity for education.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Travel to other FFB branches as needed.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven working experience as an Investment Representative or relevant experience.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships.
• Intermediate computer proficiency is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Series 7 and Series 63 as well as South Dakota Insurance License.
  • If not currently licensed, the bank will assist in obtaining the required licenses.
