Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with front desk coverage including answering phones, greeting customers, and directing inquiries.
- Maintain and track existing and new accounts in our agency management system.
- Foster strong relationships with current clients to maintain client retention.
- Assist clients with filing insurance claims and tracking claims to ensure client and company satisfaction.
- Respond to queries, problem solving, and following up with clients.
- Keep up to date with industry knowledge.
- Treat each client interaction as an opportunity for education.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements Include:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with all types of insurance plans in both Personal and Commercial lines, including Life and Health (or willingness to learn).
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships.
- Intermediate computer proficiency is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- South Dakota Insurance License (or the ability to obtain license within two months of employment).
