Branch Manager – Loan Officer | Presho, SD

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with a passion for community banking for the Branch Manager/Loan Officer position at our Presho branch.  The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations, be responsible for managing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop and maintain a quality loan portfolio of agricultural, commercial, and consumer loans.  Strong communication, financial analysis, decision-making, and organizational skills are necessary. 

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire branch staff to achieve high performance and excellent customer service.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to coworkers.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries in a timely manner and fostering a welcoming and customer-focused branch environment.
• Oversee daily branch operations and adherence to bank policies and procedures.
• Follow safe and sound loan underwriting principles.
• Analyze financial information, complete financial statements, cashflows, and related documents and perform inspections.
• Prepare and present loan requests to the appropriate loan committee.
• Maintain loan files and documentation all in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Bank.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal banking regulations.
• Represent and promote the positive image and reputation of the Bank through involvement in the community.
